The episode starts with Malishka talking to Kiran. He tells Kiran that he has given up today and will not try to separate Lakshmi and Rishi anymore. Malishka asks Kiran who said she changed CM’s fate. He then shares that Ojs was supposed to kill the Chief Minister, but failed as he asked him to kill Lakshmi instead. Malishka is disappointed and asks Kiran what she should do to win against Lakshmi. He feels tired and says Lakshmi can take whatever she wants.
Kiran reminds Molishka that after the court allowed Lakshmi to move back to the Oberoi mansion, she is getting offers again. He then shows some pictures of the potential match, but Malishka gets upset and asks if Kiran has lost his mind and says that she only wants Rishi. Kiran advises Malishka to stop acting like a child if she really wants Rishi.

Meanwhile, Harleen, Karishma, Anchal and Neelam watch a news report praising CM Sulochana and Lakshmi for saving the others. Harleen praises Lakshmi for saving not only the Chief Minister but also their family. Neelam agrees, admitting that it is true. Malishka and Anushka hear their conversation. Malishka then tells Neelam that she will prepare for Janmashtami celebrations. Karishma asks Anushka to inform them when Malishka leaves as they are worried. Anushka agrees. Neelam comments to Harleen that she thinks Malishka might have heard them praising Lakshmi.
Lakshmi’s Confusion – Bhagyalakshmi written update
Lakshmi then tells Rishi that she understands how he feels, comparing it to how he felt when Parvati came into his life. He apologizes to Rishi for keeping him away from Parvati. Lakshmi is confused as to whether Rishi is really a good person or whether she misunderstands him. Rishi says both are true—he is a good man, and she misunderstands him. Lakshmi thinks Rishi is criticizing her because she admits that she misunderstood him. They argue about it, and Rishi tries to explain, but Lakshmi doesn’t listen. The sage leaves.
Kiran calls Malishka to see if she has reached home. Malishka confirms that she is at home and everyone complains praising Lakshmi for saving people. Kiran advises him not to worry about it. Malishka invites Kiran to celebrate Janmashtami the next day and then ends the call.
