Vidya offers Arman food as he leaves the house, signifying a special gesture of love and well-wishing.
With a heavy heart, Arman kneels to take Vidya’s blessings. Abhira, trying to remain positive, tells Arman, “Don’t worry, Vidya will forgive you soon. You haven’t done anything wrong.” Vidya doesn’t respond but looks deeply troubled.
Suddenly, Panditji arrives, and everyone is curious about his presence. Manisha asks if he is there to perform prayers, but Panditji reveals he’s been called for the last rites, shocking everyone.
Everyone, especially Arman, is alarmed, fearing something has happened to Kaveri. Arman urgently questions Panditji, “What do you mean? Who requested this?” The room anxiously awaits an explanation.
Kaveri steps forward, instructing Panditji to proceed. Arman looks at her, bewildered, as Kaveri reveals a shocking truth.
“These rites are not for an individual but for a disintegrating family,” she declares. Both Vidya and Arman are stunned by her words.
Vidya asks, “Why are you doing this?” Kaveri responds angrily, “I’m tired of your decisions that disregard everyone else.”
Arman tries to shift the blame, but Kaveri firmly stops him, stating, “No, Arman. This is because Vidya no longer values this family.” Vidya’s eyes well up with tears, deeply affecting everyone.
Abhira rushes in, attempting to soothe the situation. “Kaveri, you’re misunderstanding. Arman loves you and this family,” he insists.
But Kaveri, still upset, accuses Abhira of being ready to abandon the family easily. “How can I believe you care?” she questions, feeling neglected.
Abhira tries to explain, but Kaveri won’t listen. He feels utterly betrayed.
Feeling hurt by Kaveri’s words, Vidya steps up. “Do you think I’m happy with my decisions?” she asks with a bitter laugh. “All I receive from this family is sorrow.”
Kaveri remains unmoved, “You’re being selfish, Vidya. This family doesn’t revolve around you.”
She then delivers a harsh ultimatum: “Either mend this family or leave forever.” Vidya is left speechless and deeply troubled.
After contemplating, she says, “I will stop Arman and Abhira from leaving, but I can no longer accept Arman as my son.” The declaration shocks everyone.
Kaveri quietly responds, “Even in my anger, I would never push Arman away. Your love for him was never genuine.” Vidya feels her world collapsing.
Crying and feeling isolated, Vidya laments, “No one values me in this family,” as she wipes her tears. Rohit and Ruhi attempt to comfort her. “Mom, we all love you. You are important to us,” Rohit reassures, though Vidya remains unconvinced.
She accuses, “Arman took away my happiness. He destroyed Madhav’s dream of a grandchild and Kaveri’s hopes as well.”
As Rohit tries to speak, Vidya stops him. “You and Ruhi must now carry on the family name,” she insists. Rohit and Ruhi are left stunned and speechless.
Arman, deeply worried, paces back and forth. “What if Vidya never forgives me?” he anxiously questions. Abhira tries to reassure him, “Vidya loves you, even if she doesn’t show it now. She will forgive you,” she says confidently.
“Do you really think so?” Arman asks. Abhira nods and promises to talk to Vidya. Feeling slightly reassured, Arman decides to go out and get Vidya’s medicine, determined to care for her despite the tension. Abhira watches him leave, hoping for a positive outcome.
